I've accidentally started a BoK army. Help!
Hello!
Lately I've invested in Chaos Daemons for 40k and I started with my favourite part; khorne daemons. I've also started playing AoS with my friends (mainly spearhead -- slaves to darkness) but we had our first AoS 4th game last weekend and we had suuuuuuch a good time. With that in mind, I love the idea of using my minis for both games so naturally I've started to look into BoK!
I bought the combat patrol for 40k before it went away (bloodletters x20, bloodcrushers x3, flesh hounds
x10, and bloodmaster). I also bought a Bloodthrister (not assembled yet, but soon).
I like both daemons and mortals even though some mortals models are a bit outdated.
I know that the BoK battletome will be released soon, and stuff is now changing, but after checking out the previewed rules I think I'm set on starting BoK properly.
So, my questions are:
- Should I purchase the BoK spearhead (Bloodbound Gore Pilgrims) or if I should invest in something different like the "Goreblade Warband" that was announced last Sunday?
- A reinforced Blood warriors unit seems to be quite good, should I buy more or be content with 10 from the spearhead?
- Is it worth stacking more mortals? What would be the prefered battle formation with the list below?
- Should I have my bloodletters in 2 units of 10, or have a reinforced unit of 20?
- Are the BoK manifestations worth it?
Any other tips are more than welcome! Thank you so much for your time!
