Powerful Portable System For SteamVR?

I'm looking into getting a portable gaming system like a Steam deck or maybe a cheap gaming laptop and I was wondering if either Steam Deck or whatever laptop is powerful enough to run SteamVR?

Why not a tower? Well I'm planning to do SteamVR or VR gaming occasionally and primarily focusing on traditional gaming. And I would like a portable system, I don't like gaming in the same spot for too long.

Thanks in advance!
