Say hello to the mountain, caves, component stockpile, ancient uplink, ancient toxic vents, increased pollution. It also just so happens the empire outpost was built there.
Only noticed this because of the deserter quest outpost, after loading a previous save it was like this before, so Im assuming not a bug just a bit of a coincidence
