Started reading this book on 1st of this month.before starting, I looked up reviews, asked chat gpt- they said this book is trauma p**n. And now I know why.

Before picking this book please read warnings. I don't think this book is for everyone, i don't think everyone can read this book. Everyday I was summarising story for my dear friend.they requested me to stop telling them and reading alogether.they asked why I am reading this? This is so traumatic.

This book was a rollercoaster of negative emotions. I felt disgust, sadness, rage.

Author does not have a single ounce of mercy. there are very real details in this book.author did not try to sugarcoat anything.( I felt immense rage after reading that " sore tummy" detail. Why him?? What did he do??? Have mercy on his poor soul)

I still remember when I read luke's chapter I felt so much rage which is so unusual for me i rarely feel it.i kept pacing in my room.

One thing I liked is how people from his life ( Harold, Julia, William, JB, Richard, Andy) never gave up on him.how caring they all were towards him. Above mentioned people taught me to be more caring and thoughtful in my relations.

About william- I really appreciate willam's acceptance of jude. In love, you accept them for who they are willam exactly did that.

I wish he was more kind towards himself.i wish he could have seen himself from other's eyes. I wish he would have known how beautiful he is. He thought his scars were making him hideous, but his scars were telling his story.they were his battle marks.they were proof of how brave he is to endure somthing/everything so inhuman.

This book is a story of Jude st. Francis's traumatic life.

PS: When we read a book we put our time in it. We offer our time. But i think, this book forcefully takes your soul, a little part of your soul away from you.

I just finsihed reading, I feel empty and relieved. Empty becoz it took a little part of my soul And relieved becoz now I know he is no more, he does not have to endure anymore, he is free, he is not in pain, his life of suffering has ceased. NOW HE IS WITH HIS WILLIAM.
" So I try to be kind to everything I see, and in everything I see, I see him."
                             - Harold.

This thing is painfully beautiful😣
