fun things to do for some early 20 somethings moving to the area?

we're a group of four moving to west peoria, we're all queer so we're looking for places that'd be accepting, we like going to antique stores, thrift stores, raves, punk shows, goth nights, oddities shops, just looking for fun things to do in the area, maybe some places to make friends as well :))
