Would this be considered extortion or blackmail?

I watch a lot of twitch and also like to play geoguessr and I challenged myself to find the address of a very famous content house from what they have said on stream and I notified the organization. Without me asking for anything, they offered me $25k if I signed an nda and never disclosed the location. Is this legal?
