Client mad at me for sitting down? (Rant + Vent + Fear?)

My client has recently developed a strange behavior that I’m not even sure falls into any of the functions of the behavior? I guess you could say it’s tangible but like, even then I don’t think so cause client doesn’t care or try to engage with me the second I stand up.

I wouldn’t say it’s attention either cause this client like I said, doesn’t seem to care and will not engage with me, smile, or show any sort of reaction that indicates it’s for attention the second I stand up. They do whatever they were doing before.

I’m concerned about my safety though, as this client often will bite to the point of breaking skin, and pulls hair really hard. Those aren’t all his behaviors, he has many more, but those are what he does to me when I try to sit. Not to mention, my clinic put me in this weird situation where I’m the only RBT in the room with him and in the adjacent room. While people can overhear our conversations in the room behind those rooms(sorry if this is confusing) nobody can SEE what’s happening.

I’m concerned that I’m gonna faint and that this kid is going to severely attack me when I’m unconscious. Or that when they see I’m sitting(clinic requires we do extensive notes), they’ll start to attack.

And YES, I have asked the BCBA about what to do, but I’m scared this kid will still try to attack.
