🏖️ My Go-To Shorts for the Beach and Beyond – Lightweight, Comfy & Surprisingly Versatile

Hey everyone – just wanted to drop in and share something I recently discovered on a trip to San Diego.

I’m usually super picky about summer gear, especially shorts – they’re either too flimsy or not breathable enough. I picked up a pair of beach shorts from a newer brand called Surfcuz, and was actually pretty impressed.

What I liked:

• Lightweight and quick-drying (after swimming or just sweating)
• Inner compression layer = no chafing on long beach walks or hikes
• Looks decent enough to go straight from the beach to a casual bar
• Zipper pockets that actually work

I wore these on a weekend beach-hike combo trip – walked around La Jolla, went cliff jumping, grabbed dinner in them – and honestly didn’t change all day.
