Saw a post wondering if there is any particular direction that Akira and Sheryl’s relationship goes, so I’ll post a few images from the translated version of “rebuild world volume 9, part 1”.

I do need to be clear when reading this, it would be helpful to have read up to the official English release of Rebuild World volume 6 part 2, to know why Yumina’s name is so important in context to the conversation. While events do happen between volume 6 to volume 9, the main takeaway is knowing the events surrounding Akira and Yumina’s dynamics up to volume 6 part 2.

Apologies if you are reading this in the dark. It’s gonna be a flashbang.

The title for the chapter (at least for my translation) was chapter 266 “surprisingly dense”.

The images should be in order, so you can read from the first to the last in sequence.

You don’t need to worry about the character Shirou. He has a reason for being there, but he’s not important for the scene in question.

I also haven’t included the situation with Viola. It is an event where Viola tries to manipulate Sheryl beforehand, but I didn’t deem it important for what the person I made this post needed.

The last image has half a conversation cut out because it starts another event that’s not important for the context, that’s why the image looks zoomed in.
