Where to find musicians to start a band with?

Heaps of my mates are musicians but are unfortunately already in bands. I try to go to as many local gigs/ indie nights to try and meet people to start a band with but I’ve had no luck so far. I thought I would also throw my hat in here (if that’s allowed) for anybody in Melbourne that is 20-25 that has the same influences as me: The Vaccines, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Joy Division, Sam Fender, The Killers, Vampire Weekend etc.

I have a number of demos made but want to start playing with other people. Thanks!
