I think this is a kind of venting/rant¿? But I need to let it go. Im in a figurative crisis lmao
*And*, well. Idk. Im writing a story, with a distressing background, ✨paternal vibes✨ and found family, and then? It turned into a fic with more humor and a lot more serious vibes than I planned.

Where did the damn advanced magic theory come from?
I just wanted to add an extra magic concept to explain my character's suffering!
I didn't plan for them to get involved in the war either !... It was a fic about small everyday misfortunes, not sinking into real misfortunes!
It was supposed to be a cute story with a noble child and an his adoptive father!

And what do I get when I resist making the fic longer than 10 chapters?... *Well*... My characters are judging me because I'm shortening their story.

Pd. I could make it more than ≈80k... But I feel like I might abandon it if it's too long.... After all, I just recently came out of a writer's block that lasted for years. 4 years.

So I don't know what to do with this feeling and this battle I'm having with the characters. Lmao.
So, well. I'll close my eyes and press the accelerator before I end up being persuaded.🥀

I have enough deleted fics and drafts of long unfinished fics in google docs. And, this fic will not be part of that group.😔👊🏻

Does it happen to anyone else? What have you done?

It's always funny when you realize you're no longer in control. And yes, you are the one writing😔👊🏻
