Discovered Someone I la know is the most horrible person ever

Hey everyone my best friend has a friend group in which Im not really in that friend group cuz I have another friend group Im in with that friend let’s call him À

However Im friend with everyone in his other friend group i was in their basketball team and school. However one of them let’s call him b turned out to be a horrible person.

B was accused à while ago by his cousin of being raped by B he went to jail for it à bit too, no one believed her including us because there was no proof and she was kind off an attention seeking slut plus the story sounded too crazy to be true he convinced us he didn’t do anything. B is really attractive and not weird so we thought there was no way he would do something this crazy.

However recently two more girls started saying they were raped by B at that point it was too much so we contacted the girls and asked them. Turned out they had a lot of proof way too much to ignore, we then confronted b and he broke down crying in front of his friend group addmiting everything (I wasn’t there for all of that I wasn’t THAT close to know this yet but I was friends with em but with b à bit less since I knew him later) When I say he raped I don’t mean got them drunk or manipulating I mean straight up forcing himself on them and the girls were too petrified to do anything some extremely violent stuff his cousin turned out to be true too.

He now officially has cases opened against him he most likely will do time considering there is proof and he did this several times.

B wasn’t my close friend but I did know him but this affects my friend À so much and me more then I would think. It shocks me people like this are real and this made my friend kinda depressed we never thought this would happen idk this kinda made me lose hope in people idk what to do now. How do I make my friends get though this ? Hes losing hope in people around him and the friend group kinda is like stunned now they hangout now and there is this weight above us what can I do to help my friends and get through this?
