Bought ₹1 Lakh HP Omen Laptop on Amazon — Promised 1-Year Warranty, Got Only 2 Months | Zero Help from Support

Urgent

I recently purchased an HP Omen laptop from Amazon India on 10th July 2025. It got delivered the next day, and the total cost was a whopping ₹1,02,990. According to Amazon’s listing, the product was brand new and came with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

However, after verifying the serial number on HP’s official website, I found that the warranty expires on 23rd September 2025 — that’s barely 2 months of coverage, not the 12 months promised.

I’ve reached out to Amazon support multiple times, but no one has helped me so far. The worst experience was with a supervisor named Danish from the technical assistance team — he was cold, unresponsive, and offered zero solutions. No empathy, no escalation, no ownership. Just plain indifference.

I’ve attached proof — the Amazon order invoice showing the purchase details and the HP warranty page with the expiry date.

This is beyond frustrating. I feel cheated after spending over a lakh on a high-end laptop. Has anyone else faced a similar issue with Amazon or warranty misrepresentation?

@Amazon, if you’re reading this — please acknowledge that this is a serious miss on your part or your seller’s. Don’t make customers run in circles after selling them faulty or misrepresented.
