Cannot see full gallery when uploading pictures to album.

When I try to upload a photo in the game, the full list of photos on my phone is not visible. I can select photos only from the list of albums that have been created in my gallery. So if I want to upload a picture, first I have to manually add it to an album in my gallery, then select the photo from that album. I have granted full access to gallery in the settings. Cannot share screenshot for privacy reasons.
