How to build trust and reach early adopters in edtech (AI-based assessment tool)?
Hey!
I'am an indie developer working on an edtech product that helps teachers save time grading paper worksheets. The idea is: teachers upload or create worksheets, the system adds QR codes, students scan and complete them on paper, and our AI grades them automatically, even open-ended questions. It is used in-class with printed materials or as homework, not replacing traditional taeching, just helping with the painful part, grading.
I have bootstrapped everything and built it based on real teacher feedback, but now I am stuck trying to grow. I am trying to figure out:
- How do you build real trust with teachers? Many are skeptical of new tech, especially AI.
- What's the best way to reach early adopters in the education space (especially B2C)?
- Are there specific communities, groups, or approaches that worked for you in a similar space?
- Any tips for pricing or freemium models in education?
Any help or shared experiences would mean a lot!
