Calculator said 32D (previously was wearing 36A). I think my shape might best suit 32C, and probably a demi cup. Could this be right?

SpoilerFit Check

I've tried on what feels like hundreds of bras over the last month, with some highs and some absolute lows.

I think I'm close to understanding what works for me:

  • 32 is absolutely right. I've tried 34 in B, C and D and it's never been good.
  • Light padding is a preference, as non padded gives me small boob anxiety.
  • One boob is annoyingly smaller than the other, maybe half a cup size.
  • Full cups never work.
  • I feel more comfortable in non-wired but this could just be that I haven't worn wires for 20 years and am not used to them.
  • I have a bony sternum that won't tolerate high gores.

I think I may have found a winning size and style! But I'm exhausted from the effort of trying and failing and trying and failing and trying again (not to mention all the wasted ££) and I just don't know for sure. This is a cheap M&S demi cup, lightly padded, in a 32C. I tried the 32D and had cup gape all over the place. This one feels really good. I'm aware of the underwire, but it doesn't hurt at all. I'd really value opinions:
