Is Anytime Fitness worth the upgrade over ActiveSG Gym (Woodlands)?

I’m contemplating which one to go with right now. AF is having an $89 promotion but I could just pay like 40$ at activesg for 3 sessions a week right which saves me about $50 a month. The thing is I can only go to activesg in woodlands which is nearby my place after working hours like 8pm or lunch time at AF Raffles Place which is nearby where I’m working at. Paid a visit at the AF raffles place and it was crowded during lunch time.

I’m definitely a rookie so I don’t need too heavy weights (for now). Bench, squat, leg press, dumbbells and barbell should be enough for me. Nothing fancy. My questions are:

1. Is Anytime Fitness worth the upgrade over ActiveSG Gym (Woodlands)?

2. Is there a shower place at activesg gym?

3. How bad is the peak hours for both gym?

4. When is the next expected promotion for anytime fitness?
