US Citizen looking to move to/searching for jobs in NZ, any advice?

Hello! I am a US Citizen that is currently looking at moving to another country (for several reasons you can probably guess) and am eyeballing New Zealand, do you guys have any advice?

For jobs I'm basically open to anything, I'm a software/game developer but since the tech industry is really rocky right now because of AI and whatnot I've been looking down other avenues, I've heard that NZ has a lot of tourism so I'm considering searching in that area and possibly moving there in November just before tourist season

(I also already have a Working Holiday Visa and am in my mid 20's in case that's relevant)

For areas to move to I'm currently looking at Auckland and Wellington, but I'm also pretty much open to anywhere

Any advice you guys can give to someone in my position (including whether or not moving here is a good idea in the first place) would be super appreciated!
