Confused about haircut

I have had short hair for really long , I feel short hair has a lot of perks but I have become bored I'm contemplating if I should grow my hair long or not because I just find it hard to carry long hair and to style it , I used to have long hair when u was really young .

The other concern is that tho I have silky shiny straight hair , it's thin and low in density genetically so the hair looks flat so I'm also worried if I'll grow it longer it will look flatter .

Now , coming to the looks , I think I have soft features, like oval face, small/medium eyes ,long nose , plump lips so keeping all this in mind what should I go for long hair or short hair ??
