T1D & Graves

I’m a 28 y/o engaged woman who wants to start a family soon. I’ve had graves since 2015. I’ve also had type one diabetes since 2013.

I’m not pregnant as we decided to not start trying until I graduate with my nursing degree. I need to know that there’s another woman out there that has had a successful pregnancy with a healthy baby. I’m scared. I feel so conflicted. I am basically double high risk so to speak & so would be my child.

My fiancé and I both want to have at least one biological child and maybe adopt more in the future.
