Gave brother my car for an escooter

So here's the picture

I had a car that was a massive pain to me (I'm disabled cant drive) that was given to me by my uncle

My brother wanted the car for his wife and kids but couldn't pay a full lump sum amount

So me being the nice person I was

Said that ill give him the car and ill use my info to get a electric scooter through affirm and he would make the monthly payments and my credit gets boosted he gets a car I have a scooter (should've been a win win)

Mind you I have texts screenshots (multiple) that clearly suggest he is aware of said deal no contract was written but aknlowdgement was made

He has ghosted me for a little over 7 months now and refuses to awnser or pay

And im pretty sure he sold the car already

Now do I take it to small claims court and how do I go about this

Remeber I have text proof of him saying g he sent a payment I have bank statements everything

Just didn't write a contract
