Will I get 30 days or 60 days when I return to Pattaya after a 2-month stay there

I would like some advice about an issue that I have. I really don't want to have problems at immigration when I arrive at the airport so I need help in planning.

I'm shortly going to finish a 2-month trip to Thailand and I'm going to explore southeast Asia for a while. When I return to Pattaya I'm worried that I'll have trouble with immigration. Does anybody know will I have a 30 or 60 day stamp in my passport when I arrive again.(I successfully used the E entry visa for the first time when I arrived) I would really hate to have to do a border run.

Last year I had difficulty when I returned to Thailand after a 30-day Visa and a 30-day extension. It was very stressful and I don't want to have to go through that again. I have a booked flight back to the United States on October 12th but would really like to return to Thailand on September 1st or so. You can see that if I have problems with getting a 60-day stamp in my passport it would be miserable. Thanks for any advice.
