SCT vs BARTON HILL vs RIT kottayam

Im looking for ECE and from my rank I can get into these colleges in 3rd allotment.
1-Even though ive heard RIT is a really good college im planning on putting SCT and Barton hill above RIT because i feel like ill get more exposure as sct and barton hill are in trivandrum.
so my question is- is RIT way better than sct and barton hill (it would be nice if you also mention the reasons) to the point i should put RIT above both
2-im seriously looking into SCT so
a- since there are no hostels how do the students stay and how is the experience
b- are there active extracurricular and curricular clubs
c- what do you do after the campus shuts down after class
i mainly want information on hostel situation in sct
