PDPU (PDEU) Mechanical vs DDIT Mechanical – Which College Offers Better Facilities, Exposure, and Overall Life?

Hey everyone! I'm currently trying to decide between PDPU (Pandit Deendayal Energy University) and DDIT (Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology) for Mechanical Engineering, and I’d really appreciate some honest input from current students or alumni of either college.

I want to know which college is better in terms of:

Campus facilities (labs, infrastructure, hostels, etc.)

Industry exposure (internships, workshops, industrial visits)

Teaching quality and academic support

Student life (festivals, clubs, crowd, overall vibe)

Placement opportunities for Mechanical students

I’ve heard different things about both – PDPU seems to have a more modern vibe and infrastructure, while DDIT is known for strong academics. But I want to hear real experiences to make an informed decision.
