Battle for Windhelm // Reynification of Skyrim (XBOX)

Hi all! So, I ususally have 6 saves through my mission, because as we all know, Skyrim likes to bug. But my game wrote over my saves with autosave, and it fucked me. :-(

I am playing vanilla on Xbox, the anniversary edition. When I enter the castle the General has his speach, after which Ulfric and Galmar only attack me. The General and Legate Rikki just stand there, sheeting and unsheeting. I found this solution on the wiki and previous postst, but I must be daft because it doesn't work? Can someone please dumb it down for me?

I downloaded Debug Menu, before entering the castle, I open commands, I select Other, STU, SetObjectiveCompleted, enter formID 96E71, enter a whole number between 0 and 65535 (tried both input 4001 and 4002), enter a whole number between 0 and 1 (tried both input 0 and 1, 0 says its already marked incompleted and 1 doesnt say anything).

Please help? What am I doing wrong? I can excit the entire quest, but then Windhelm stays locked, and when I enter the castle it tries to restart the quest "force Ulfric to surrender" and it gets stuck again.... I'd love it if I dont have to restart my entire save / have to avoid Windhelm for the rest of my game...
