Three Brampton people face charges after a stolen transport truck was found by police near Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga on Monday.

Peel Regional Police said auto crime investigators discovered the stolen truck, worth around $100,000, in the area of Dixie Road and Meyerside Drive, just west of the airport. It had been reported stolen days earlier, police added.

Investigators subsequently laid charges against three people in connection with what police describe as “an organized cargo theft” investigation.

Police said two additional transport trailers, also reported stolen days prior, were located in the same area and linked to three individuals.

Following an investigation, three arrests were made.

Total value of the trucks recovered is $300,000, police said.

Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, 42, Rajwant Singh, 31, and Harmash Lal Dadra, 44, all of Brampton, are charged with:

• possession of property obtained by crime (two counts)

• theft over $5,000

• possession of break-and-enter instruments

Rajwant Singh is additionally charged with two counts breach of conditional sentence.

The investigation continues.
