Why is nothing working for me?

I got diagnosed with AA at age 13, and i had this tiny bald spot in the side of my head about 1.5 cm in diameter for now about 7 years, I am 20. It has gotten a tiny bit better with some hair growth around it, as the spot was around 2 cm in diameter to now 1.5 cm, however it never fully grew back neither went away. I am not hairless anywhere else on my body or hair, perfect dense thick hair. I gotten 2 injections, minoxidil everyday already - nothing works. I am assuming I am stuck with this forever? Can i get a hair transplant only to that specific area with AA? Thanks,
