Got upgraded to Category 2 neurology referral — should I be concerned? (GP said it would be a Cat 3)

I’m based in Australia

Hi all, I was referred to a neurologist through the public system for ongoing dizziness, nausea, and sensory sensitivity. My GP initially said it could be 12+ months wait, but I just found out I was triaged as Category 2, which apparently means I should be seen within 90 days.

I’m curious: Should I be worried that I was upgraded to Category 2? Does this mean they suspect something more serious?

Thanks in advance to anyone with experience in the Australian system or similar symptoms. I haven’t had any worsening reported to my GP really since the referral was sent.
