Color profiles dont apply

I have been trying to srgb clamp my monitor for a couple of days now.

I am using fedora kde 42 with kde plasma 6.4.3

Both trying to apply the profiles from the ui and using kscreen doctor doesnt work, yet kscreen doctor reports that an srgb profile is in use.

colormgr get-devices shows no devices at all.

is there anything else i can try to fix this issue?
