Hello chameleon-Reddit!
I’ve been lurking for a while and occasionally posted some pics in comments with other panther owners but I decided to fully show our lil boy!
His name is Egon and we got him for free from a good friend of my now passed (fuck cancer) dad. They’ve known each other for a long time and were very good pals. After his passing, he contacted my mom and sent a pic with some Cham babies. He told her, one of these is ours!
We waited till he was ready to pickup and drove multiple hours to get him home ✨

He is over a year old and I believe like 2-3 months, he’s very social and friendly!
His diet is mostly crickets, them being drowned in a calcium-vitamin-powder on a regular basis.

Before anyone bashes regarding the hammock in the enclosure: we had it in there since he was a baby and I’ve seen the discussion in this subreddit and I’ve cautiously watched over him and nothing happened. He loves this hammock and mainly chills on there when it’s feeding time lol
Also: yeah, he’s not having a LOT of plants/mainly plastic ones but we too observed him: he does not bite the plants and he mainly drinks from a fountain with running water. He does NOT lick it off the plants. Overall he’s a very gentle reptile with some beautiful color changes and on a daily basis he’s flaming red with yellow/orange all over :)
Hope you guys enjoy my favorite tiny sunset 🔥

Egon is a chill dude
