Moving to Hillsboro

everyone I'm moving to Hillsboro in a couple months from phoenix. Any recommendations on must haves from some locals? Like do i need snow tires? if i do where should i get them? also recommendations on hikes or just fun things to go do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
