Do you guys think Gojo is the strongest opponent Sukuna ever fought?

Sukuna's immediate words are the cause for this post and are food for though.

Could Sukuna have said or given anything except the half-sarcastic, half-patronizing praise he always gives to opponents he 'recognizes'? Is that just who the King of Curses is? What would have needed to occur during a fight for him to say "Shit" and crawl away into an alley?
