Friend burned me out to gf and wrecked relationship

Long story short my friend ‘F 26’ burned me out to my gf ‘F 24’ about something that happened 9 years ago and had nothing to do with her. I ‘26M’ feel like my friend should have kept her mouth shut and not told her. Specifically because she holds a secret about one of our friends ‘F 26’ who cheated on her boyfriend ‘M26’. Like why did she have to burn me out and not her? The gravity of my situation was not close to being as dire but it was about someone that I had dated right after HS which was years before I met my gf ‘F 24’.I feel like breaking off this friendship and just not talking to her anymore because she broke my trust. Is that valid for me to break it off because she was so willing to burn me out but not our other friend like how can you justify that.
