Smartfood Popcorn?

Okay so I’m allergic to nuts and tree nuts and I’ve been eating Smartfood popcorn for most of my life w/o an issue, but recently I looked it up and google basically said that it’s not nut free and made in a facility that shares equipment with nuts(?). Does anybody know if this true or not because now I’m very hesitant to eat it anymore.
