Got a nod and a smile from an Olympic Gold Medalist today. What slightly boring but lovely anecdotes do you have about meeting famous people?

My pal and I were on a 10 mile hike in Otley/Burley today, and it absolutely pissed it down with rain. At one point a group of fellas cycled past us as we were trekking along the side of the road piss wet through - one smiled and nodded at us. It was Alistair Brownlee! Gave us a little boost to finish our hike towards the pub!
