Insurance and damaged cars
Sorry if this is a strange question and if this isn’t the right place to ask could someone direct me where to ask? Obviously a lot of property was damaged, cars crushed under the collapse of the towers, people that survived 9/11 but had their cars crushed, what would they have done? Because obviously there wasn’t much evidence that you were parked there and your car was crushed under impact, no evidence of it, did insurance companies just believe people due to the horrific circumstances and didn’t question it? I know this is such a non sensical question and in the grand scheme of things peoples cars being ruined wasn’t their worst worry, but it’s been bugging me.
