2019 Dodge Journey with the 2.4 engine electrical glitch issues

Where to start with this issue. About 3 weeks ago, my wife was driving her Journey down the road, when we heard the ding of the dash. looking over all the warning lights came on. here gauges all dropped to zero then maxed out before returning to the current state for example the speedometer went back to the current speed. Also the radio went black and the Dodge flash screen came back up. The engine and AC never shut off and we did not lose any control of the vehicle. its almost like the car just restarted itself. The dash acted the same way it does when you first start the car.

We looked at each other and said that was weird. It did the same thing two more times over the next 15 minutes and ran the rest of the day with no other issues.

A few days later the glitch returned one time during the day and nothing else. Since then it has been a random "restart". Sometimes the gauges go crazy warning lights do not come on, we hear a ding the radio goes black then everything comes back on. We took a 3 hour road trip and 3 hours back with nothing happening during the trip. It happens when driving or sitting at a stop so its hard to narrow down what driving condition could be causing the issue as there is no common factor.

Last night a new symptom came up. We were sitting with the car in park and running. The car shut off, engine stopped but the start button still said the car was in the run position, the dash lights and everything were on. I put my foot on the brake and pushed the button and it started right up.

I put a new battery in the car about 6 months ago. That is the only work done on the car besides normal maintenance.
