Cobbleverse: Trying to find an Iron Valiant, what would be the best way to farm for it?

According to the cobbleverse site they spawn in Plains biomes near lightning rods. Should I just... place rods across plains, then fly between them? How far apart should they be? Does having a lot of them in one place improve the odds? Is there some other strategy to getting a specific spawn like this?
