RSV shot in third trimester?
Did anyone get the RSV shot while pregnant? I’m almost 35 weeks and it was just brought up to me by my toddler’s pediatrician to consider for new baby. This shot wasn’t around yet the last time I was pregnant, so I don’t know much about it. I also read that if I don’t get it or miss my window (which ends soon), my newborn can get the antibody shot at birth instead, which sounds almost better to me. Any advice is welcome, I’m not sure what the best decision to make it. FYI- I may have to get on antibiotics this week again for my reoccurring BV, and I also have high amniotic fluid, which are both slight risks to preterm delivery. Not sure if the RSV shit would be beneficial or risky for me at this time. TIA!
