4 months review

Hello everyone, Its been almost 4 month since i got the ring , and it's incredibly lightweight! A huge shoutout to whoever recommended going a size down—it was definitely the right call. The difference between the size in the kit and the actual ring is quite noticeable. As I'm using it for the first time, I’ve noticed a few things and would love some insights from seasoned users. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! Daytime Stress- • What exactly does “daytime stress” mean? It's puzzling! One day, after I had my coffee, it showed that I was stressed. Another day, I had lunch, and it displayed the same thing. Can anyone shed some light on this? Sleep Schedule- • The app syncs with Apple Health, but it feels a bit incomplete. While it gathers data from Apple, it doesn’t seem to send anything back properly. I follow a specific sleep schedule that's aligned with my work/life routine. Ideally, when I turn on sleep mode (or when it automatically triggers), I’d love for it to recognize I’m going to sleep. Instead, it records my time on the bed as sleep, even when I’m just sitting there. I feel guilty for manually changing it every morning! • Another thing I’ve noticed is that around 9 PM, I often receive a notification that it’s time to sleep. While this is helpful on weekdays, it doesn’t suit my weekend vibe. Is there a way to adjust that? Doesn’t the ring learn from your patterns? This inconsistency affects my score, and my competitive side isn’t thrilled about the drop! The Oura App- • Why doesn’t the app refresh in the background? Every time, I have to open it and wait for the data to update. It’s frustrating because Apple Health shows real-time data, including the info from the ring, but the native app doesn’t behave the same way. Any insights? • Also, how do you manually trigger blood oxygen saturation? On my second day, I discovered that by clicking the small heart under the heart rate graph, I could manually activate real-time heart rate tracking. But I can’t seem to find a similar option for oxygen saturation. Am I missing something? • Lastly, why aren’t there any live activity tiles or Apple widgets for this app? It seems like those would be perfect for displaying data at a glance. On a positive note, the battery life has been impressive—lasting about 6.5 days while I wear it nearly all the time, aside from when I shower. Overall, I’m quite happy with the ring, despite the minor hiccups. I guess no device is perfect, not even the Apple Watch!
