"Ask Al" 2.0 - Is the voice better?
Well… I dropped my AI Swearengen bot onto you fine folks yesterday, and let’s just say the welcome wagon was more tumbleweed than applause. Some choice insults flew for Al's voice, my favourite was suggesting the voice was the child of Jack Nicholson and Mitch, fair enough :-D I tweaked the voice, and hopefully it's closer to the "real" Al.
As mentioned previously, the bot uses a local LLM for Deadwood trivia, trained from transcripts and fan sites. But... The cool part is an LLM router that takes question and parses it to pull the substantive part/question, picks the right API from my list, calls it, and answers based on the data via a synthesized Al voice. So can provide responses using most of the current LLM API models.
So... Ask AL 2.0, any better?
