Why are local Raider fans so much more accepting of out of state fans than other fanbases? This one's for the actual California fans

What I am trying to ask is this.....and this is for you Raider Nation who are actually from California. You've always seem willing to accept those of us from far away places that are fans of the team, without referring to us as fake fans and such. Very few fanbases are this open and welcoming.

I know that, speaking for myself, I can easily explain why those of us who are from far away support the Raiders. It really has as much to do with the fanbase as it does the team. A lot of us feel more comfortable and less judged when we're being are true selves among the Raider Nation. Like me....being from Milwaukee....the rest of Wisconsin despises Milwaukee. So we're outcasts too. We also feel that, even outside of football, Raider Nation shares a lot of the morals and values we live by in our personal lives. And we feel like the local fans in California have maybe shared some of the hardships in life that we've shared. I don't wanna get too philosophical, but I can honestly say that, for us out of market fans, there's something way beyond football itself that draws us in.

But what about your perspective? Why do you think you're so welcoming to fans from thousands of miles away when many fanbases wouldn't be?
