Canned fish vs fresh or frozen?

Hello,

I came across this sub a while ago but still haven't tried it. It does seem popular on reddit but just wondering why you eat canned fish vs fresh or frozen? Any nutritional similarities and taste? I love my fresh fish but it's expensive so sometimes just getting deep frozen fish. Canned fish does seem convenient. Also is there anything I need to pay attention to when buying canned fish?
