Upkeep Question
Hey! I've seen a lot of posts concerned about keeping the metal of their moka pot pristine- I have a hand-me-down 3-cup pot I've been using for a bit now, and the metal has been and continues to be a cloudy gray with some darker spots. I was wondering if that had any effect on the function of the pot or if people are more concerned about the appearance?
I, for one, don't really care about the look, as I just need something to make a good cup of coffee in the morning, but I do care if there is some long-term functional or taste implication of having a cloudy/spotty surface.
