GPS follow me for the ATOM 2

I recently purchased the ATOM 2. I was misled, I thought the follow me feature worked different than it actually does.

I used to have DJI drones and used them with the Litchi app. One of the follow me modes allowed me to have the drone camera face the controler. As I flew the drone around the camera always looked back at me, even as I moved. This allowed me to get great shots of my boat as I sailed through the water.

ATOM's follow me is good for a drone in its price range but it is limited. Rather than robust GPS I have to rely on the AI tracking me. In addition there are altitude requirements.

My question: What are the chances this feature could be added in the future? I'm sure there are complexities to making a feature like this work well but it seems a relatively simple math calculation.

I reached out to Potensic and they sent a generic "thanks for the valuable suggestions" reply.Is there a road map of future firmware updates? Is there a way to determine if this kind of feature is being considered?

I may need to pick up a used DJI drone. I notice DJI is not playing well with Litchi anymore. This is all very sad.
