Horrendous and sudden lag on bedrock edition

Me and my friends have been playing on bedrock recently (for crossplay) for a while ages it was running perfectly (at least after i turned off the headache inducing shaders lol)

then the last two times i opened the game i started getting a frame roughly every 3 seconds, both in the server and in the main menu, i've tried all the usual fixes, and turned every setting down and absolutely nothing is fixing it. Just a bit lost since it was running perfectly for ages only to start being unplayably laggy.
