Canadian tourist visa expiring in Dec 2025, can I use it for entry in August?

Hi guys, I have a Canadian tourist visa in my previous passport, but it expires at the end of the year. I have renewed my passport earlier this year. With other visas, I have successfully used them, even if they were in passports that have already been expired, as long as my current passport is valid.

I have two main questions:

1. Can I use my Canadian tourist visa, when the validity is less than 6 months ?

2. Can I use it, since it's in a previous passport that has been expired ?
