Warm compresses

Im new to them, been doing them with the aroma usb mask. Is it normal for my eye lids to be a bit swollen from them, do i need to stop for a day or two for the swelling to go down? Is a bit of swelling normal or not? Before compresses i had no swelling? I was diagnosed with mild mgd.
