Is there a company that pays for CDL training?

I’m interested in getting my CDL and starting a career in trucking, but I can’t afford to pay for training upfront. I’ve heard that some companies offer free CDL training or even pay you during training is that actually true?

If so, which companies offer this kind of program? Do they require you to sign a contract or commit to working for them for a certain period? I’m okay with that as long as the training is legit and there aren’t any hidden costs or catches.
