Girlfriend's insecurities - interesting lives vs normal life. 54F and 55M

55M and 54F. Have dated for a year. I love her and most of the time the relationship goes well. She's insecure. Mostly about my last 2 exes and the lives of me and my family.

One ex is a published author with a PhD from a fancy Ivy League with books that many Americans have heard of. The other is an accomplished attorney known for suing the Trump administration. Both are attractive, tall, blonde with large breasts. I wouldn't mention that if it wasn't part of the issue.

We were at a family memorial for a famous entertainer who is known worldwide. There were several well-known attendees there.

Personally, I'm poor. Always have been and always will be. I spent my life doing a lot of interesting things around the world and earning money has never been a concern for me. Fuck, I sound insufferable.

My girlfriend has led a mostly sheltered life before me. I love settling down. She's attractive and funny. She does crafts and I like talking to her.

She shut down after the memorial. The conversations going on between myself with friends, family and people with interesting lives got to her. She feels insecure because she's short (so am I), doesn't physically match up with the last two exes, and because she's led a fairly routine life.

She doesn't know what I see in her. I tell her but she thinks I'm saying things just to be nice. She's thinking about ending the relationship.

I'm not sure what to do and am asking for advice. What would you do in my place?
